Shopmobility Belfast operates out of  Westgate House, Castle Court  and Forestside Shopping Centres. Shopmobility Belfast offers a Mobile unit service, which can be hired to bring Shopmobility facilities to other areas such as exhibitions and centres without mobility schemes.

Westgate House 10.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday - Friday
Castle Court Shopping Centre 9.00 am to 3.30 pm, Monday - Saturday
Forestside Shopping Centre 10.30 am to 4.30 pm, Monday - Friday
Connswater Shopping centre 10.00am to 3.30pm, Monday - Friday
Membership Requirements
This is a free service, but the membership card requires two passport photographs, and you must also bring some form of identification with you in order to complete the membership application.
Additional Information
  • A short-term wheelchair or scooter hire service is available from Westgate House.
Both Shopmobility Belfast City Centre facilities provide:
  • An escort service, if you feel that you may need some assistance during your visit to the City Centre. To obtain this service Shopmobility Belfast would require a few days' notice.
  • Leaflets about accessible amenities in the City Centre, accessible taxis, Road Tax exemption, Disability Action Transport, Motability schemes, community transport, hire companies for ramps etc.
All Shopmobility Belfast facilities provide:
  • Information about accessible hotels in the British Isles
  • Locations of other Shopmobility Centres for scooter hire, if you are holidaying in the British Isles
  • Some advice on mobility equipment.
  • Information on the Northern Ireland Disabled Ramblers or the Scooter Driving Licence for Disabled Ramblers can be obtained from Westgate House.
