Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC)
DPTAC is the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee. Established by an Act of Parliament as an independent body, it advises Government on the transport needs of all disabled people across the UK. It also advises on the built environment needs of all disabled people.

DPTAC have a transport and travel website for disabled and less mobile people (known as “Door to Door”). It has been developed to give disabled people information about transport and advice about using all forms of transport. Whilst some of the information provided on the website applies only to residents in Great Britain and not Northern Ireland, there is a lot of information and advice which all disabled people wishing to travel will find useful, irrespective of where they live. The website address is: www.dptac.gov.uk/door-to-door.
