Road Tax Exemptions
Exemptions from the Vehicle Excise Duty (Road Tax) may be granted for vehicles used
by disabled people who:
- are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance with the higher rate of the Mobility Component;
- have an invalid carriage which does not exceed 508 kgs in weight unladen;
- were in receipt of Attendance Allowance before 13 October 1993 and have a valid Exemption Certificate;
- receive War Pensions Mobility Supplement.
