Ulsterbus

Ulsterbus is responsible for almost all scheduled bus services in Northern Ireland outside the greater Belfast area. Ulsterbus currently has 26 depots across Northern Ireland operating approximately 1200 buses with over 400 departures daily.
The majority of buses in the Ulsterbus fleet are currently not accessible to wheelchair passengers. It is, however, the policy of Ulsterbus to purchase accessible vehicles when renewing its fleet. There are currently 200 low floor buses in operation throughout Northern Ireland which allow assisted access for passengers in wheelchairs. A large proportion of the fleet also have the ability to reduce the initial step height by lowering the suspension of the vehicle.
If you need help when travelling on Ulsterbus services, please call your local bus station 24 hours before you want to travel.
Ulsterbus Station Facilities

In recent years Ulsterbus has built new bus stations at Bangor, Coleraine, Newry, Armagh, Downpatrick and Magherafelt. Their flagship station is the joint bus and rail facility at Europa Buscentre/Great Victoria Street.
The facilities available at individual bus stations are outlined in the ‘Find Transport in Your Area’ section of this website. The stations are listed alphabetically. When you have decided where you wish to travel to and from, you can identify the relevant station(s) and check on the facilities available from the appropriate page.
