With the support of the Rural Transport Fund 
for Northern Ireland (RTF), Translink operates socially necessary services.

In addition, 19 Rural Community Transport Partnerships have been established to improve mobility opportunities in their areas of operation. The RTF works closely with the Community Transport Association (CTA) which provides practical help and advice for the Partnerships.
